Strategic Planning Process
Whether your company needs a simple Web site or a complex application, successful technology projects require a specific process. Integra Strategic has distilled its 12 years of experience building numerous Web sites and Internet strategies into a Strategic Planning Process designed to deliver the results you need.
Our process is a cycle that enables your company to build success and refine objectives with each step. We find that each loop through the process advances objectives approximately 80 percent, enabling continuous process improvement. By following this process, we often find we can accomplish 80 percent of the work in 20 percent of the time – continuous review ensures that small changes and “tweaks” enable us to stay focused on the right objectives, and avoid the large, costly problems caused when projects get off track.
Strategic Planning — Ensures that your project will meet your overarching business objectives, and that all key decision-makers are in agreement.
Design — Solidifies understanding of what is being created, and how it will work. This includes the information architecture, the navigation scheme, and the graphical design.
Development — Puts your ideas into code to drive your site; development begins once planning and design work are complete and approved.
Testing — Ensures that your applications perform as intended, and that they are intuitive. We implement independent functional and quality assurance testing.
Release — Schedules the time when your Web site or application goes “live” to ensure smooth rollout. We consider numerous factors, including peak vs. off-peak roll out, user notification processes, and internal communications.
Review — Validates that your Web site or application continues to meet your overall objectives, and identifies areas for improvement.
